Elk Mound Middle School

In 2019, the Elk Mound School District successfully passed a referendum to address the increasingly prominent issues stemming from existing building conditions. The existing gym was renovated into additional classroom space and included new rooms for Guidance and Interventions. The renovation also provided additional support space for the new classrooms, including study, multi-purpose, and storage areas.

The building addition on the opposite end of the building housed the new gym and its adjacent support spaces. Sporting event spectators are served with a new private, secure entry, additional restrooms, and concessions. RVA worked closely with the district to create an exciting and unique gym experience via aesthetic and functional design considerations; these include distinctive color placement and custom floor markings for agility and training.
