The Project Manager/Architect will work under the supervision of a Principal Architect, be responsible for overseeing the work performed by technicians, and will be involved in all phases of the design process. The Candidate will be responsible for preparing schematic designs, design development drawings, and construction documents in both AutoCAD Architecture and Revit. Additional responsibilities include design services related to regular meetings with clients, consultants, the project team, and construction administration support.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • An Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting/Design and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
  • AutoCAD Architecture and Revit proficiency mandatory
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). SketchUp, Photoshop and Adobe desired
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Code analysis
  • Specification writing

Due to continued growth, River Valley Architects (Eau Claire office) is seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant who is willing to work hard and grow with the company. This is a great opportunity to be a part of an innovative and motivated team providing architectural services across a broad range of sectors. Our newly renovated office space is located at the threshold of Altoona‘s River Prairie Development and close to the City of Eau Claire’s revitalized downtown.

The Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for running and coordinating the day-to-day administrative duties and providing support to the Senior Leadership Executive Committee. Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills are critical in this role.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years serving as an administrative assistant or in other administrative support roles

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the executives’ calendars, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters.
  • Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications.
  • Organizing meetings and events, including scheduling, sending invitations and reminders, securing a venue, and organizing catering when necessary.
  • Assist with client and consultant agreements
  • Provide administrative support for the internal teams, including meeting preparation, meeting notes, and other important support needs.
  • Manage firm’s inventory
  • Maintain company form documents and administrative procedures
  • Assistance with HR duties
  • Coordinate executive and employee travel
  • Provide support for reception of guests – creating a welcoming environment, answering phone calls, and greeting visitors.
