River Valley Architects partnered with the Augusta Area School District to deliver a series of additions and renovations following the successful passage of a 2022 community-supported referendum. The project focused on creating modern, flexible learning environments and expanded community amenities across both the Elementary School and Middle-High School campuses. Improvements included a new elementary gymnasium addition with team rooms, restrooms, lobby space, and additional classrooms, as well as major middle-high school enhancements including a performing arts center, fitness and weight room facilities, expanded technical education spaces, renovated instructional areas, distance learning environments, staff resource spaces, and a relocated district office. The project reflects the district’s commitment to supporting student success, career readiness, and long-term community growth.
