River Valley Architects partnered with the Elk Mound School District following the successful passage of a 2019 referendum focused on addressing aging facility conditions and supporting future educational needs. Completed in 2022, the project included additions and renovations that transformed instructional, athletic, performing arts, and technical education spaces across the district. Improvements included a new gymnasium addition with spectator amenities, renovated classroom and student support spaces, updated locker rooms and team areas, a new weight room, expanded music and rehearsal facilities, and extensive renovations to Tech. Ed. and shop classrooms. The project also incorporated major mechanical and building system upgrades to improve long-term functionality, efficiency, and comfort while creating modern, flexible spaces that better serve students, staff, and the community.
