Lake Superior Elementary School

Lake Superior Elementary is a unique facility that houses two independently operated schools – Lake Superior Primary (LSP), grades K-2, and Lake Superior Intermediate (LSI), grades 3-5. The project consisted of three separate additions totaling nearly 18,000 square feet and included over 5,000 square feet of remodeling. The original building was designed to maintain somewhat of a separation between the two schools, but over time the district saw a need to consolidate some of the spaces to free up space for other programs that would serve their students better.

This project was completed in two phases – phase one, the front office and kindergarten additions was completed in August 2017 for the 2017-2018 academic year, and phase two, the Charter addition was completed in November 2017 and the faculty and staff were moved in time for the spring semester.
