Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary

Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary, a nonprofit nature preserve near Sarona, Wisconsin, spans more than 600 acres with extensive trails, lakes, and educational facilities. This project transformed an existing storage garage through a complete renovation and a 1,750-square-foot addition, introducing a new entrance/lobby, kitchenette, restrooms, and storage.

The resulting Richard Grand Recreation Hall reflects the character of the campus with barn-inspired materials and massing, while significantly enhancing functionality. The upgraded facility supports expanded year-round programming, increased school events for Pre-K through 7th grade, and community gatherings such as weddings.
