River Valley Architects provided design services for a new dining and residential facility centered around community, safety, and functionality. The project includes a 400-occupant dining hall with a full commercial kitchen, kitchen support spaces, storage, staff areas, and building support functions, along with an attached 400-occupant multi-purpose storm shelter. The second level features a 9-unit staff dormitory with shared community spaces designed to support staff accommodations and connectivity. The facility was planned to create an efficient, durable environment that supports daily operations while providing flexible gathering and shelter space for occupants.
