The new clinic design for Midwest Medical Center aims to incorporate a space that is catered to the patient experience. The project focused on encompassing a collaborative design to create a safer and more efficient healthcare environment. The design will give patients a dedicated entrance to improve access to the clinic and to all clinical departments.
The design includes a new main-level rehab department, wellness center, and cardiac rehab department with a lower-level fitness gym, running track, and studios. The second floor consists of a new infusion department, behavioral health department, primary care, and specialty care clinic. The collaborative clinic design will allow the clinic to share exam rooms, procedure rooms, and support spaces. The new design will improve patient access and improve staff productivity.
