River Valley Architects, Inc. was once again asked to join the Rettler Corp. design team to provide building designs on another athletic campus improvement project. The Northland College, located in Ashland, WI wanted to add a “state of the art” athletic campus which included a high end concession facility complete with upper level VIP box suites and also included coach’s office, press box and elevator access to each level. The new concession facility was designed to blend in with existing campus architecture and included extensive use of brick veneer and stone cladding. In addition to the concession facility, River Valley Architects was also challenged to design the campus entrance gate which needed to incorporate matching architecture while allowing for security requirements and ambulance access.
