The City of Altoona’s “Prairie Event Center” located in the River Prairie Development in Altoona, WI. is an approximately 9,000 square foot event center which includes a large event space that can be divided into two smaller spaces, a full service bar, patio, pre-function space, multipurpose rooms, catering kitchen and the Parks and Recreation Departments new office space. The space is used as a home base for hosting a variety of community events and celebrations in the park, rental space for meetings, weddings, receptions and other celebrations.
